Privacy Policy

Bublr helps you photograph, catalogue and organise the things you collect. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it. Bublr is operated by TagBlue Inc (“Bublr”, “we”, “us”), the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

• Account details you give us, such as your name and email address.
• Waitlist details if you request a seat: your email address and, if you provide them, your name and what you collect.
• Your catalogue: the photos you take and the items, notes and details you add to Bublr.
• Usage data: basic information about how you use the app and website — device type, pages visited and interactions — which helps us keep the product working well.

How we use it

• To run Bublr: recognising items from your photos, building your records and organising your collection (performance of our contract with you).
• To improve the product and the accuracy of recognition over time (our legitimate interest in improving the service).
• To contact you about your account, your waitlist place and important service updates.
• To send product news you have opted into — you can unsubscribe at any time, from any email.

Your collection is yours

Nothing in your collection is public unless you choose to share it. You decide whether a bubble is private, shared with friends and family, or open to everyone. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run Bublr — hosting, email delivery, image processing and analytics. They process data only on our instructions, under contracts that protect it. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep specific records for longer. Waitlist data is kept until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under UK and EU GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act — you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your data-protection authority. We honour these rights for everyone, wherever you are. To make a request, email hello@bublr.ai — we respond within 30 days and we never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Cookies

The website uses strictly necessary cookies to function and privacy-respecting analytics to understand how it is used. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

Children

Bublr is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls and other technical and organisational measures. No service can promise perfect security, but keeping your collection safe is a priority for us.

Changes and contact
